**Medical Office Assistants (MOA)** play an essential role in helping to make the entire office run smoothly. As an MOA, you will be assisting the physicians in daily duties necessary to run an organized and efficient clinic. _**You will enjoy a diversity of daily duties, from interacting with patients, performing administrative tasks, to assisting the physicians with medical & surgical procedures.**_

**Employment Type**: We are seeking _**to fill full-time**_ (35-40 hours a week). Wages are competitive.

Work hours will vary between Monday and Saturday.

**Qualifications**:

- Criminal record check with no prior felonies
- High-school diploma
- Post-secondary is preferred but not essential

**Hospitality Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a smooth workflow through the clinic: escorting patients from the waiting area to exam rooms
- Making the patients / clients feel comfortable and welcome
- Reviewing handouts/information with patients and educating cosmetic and medical patients of their procedure and answer questions when needed

**Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Turning over exam rooms
- Maintaining supplies and equipment, stocking exam rooms, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments
- Perform the duties of receptionist other production and administrative duties as required

**Clinical Responsibilities**:

- Assisting all providers with patient care as needed
- Assisting physician with clinical tasks such as: editing chart notes, reviewing pathology/lab reports, checking patients’ biopsies, printing labels, collecting and processing of samples, filling out forms, etc.

- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to effectively work as a team member
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to prioritize
- Well organized and excellent attention to detail
- Highly reliable
- Able to take direction with mínimal supervision
- Committed to treat co-workers and patients with respect at all times
- Confidentiality - able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

**Additional Preferred Skills**:

- Experience working in a medical clinic and or in the medical field
- Experience in customer service
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers, point of sales systems and Electronic Medical Records programs such as Accuro.
