Adelantar Consulting is based in Edmonton and provides civil-environmental engineering and consulting services principally in the field of industrial waste management. We are regularly awarded interesting and challenging assignments for a wide variety of clients mainly in the industrial sector, to responsibly manage their environmental challenges. Services provided include facility siting, containment design and construction management, and regulatory liaison.

**About the Role**
- Providing administrative support to all colleagues
- Preparing detailed documents, communications, and reports
- Assisting with the input of new projects and maintaining a complex file system
- Assisting and creating project timelines to track target deadlines
- Ensuring that follow-up systems are in place and actioned with clients
- Coordinating internal and external meetings or events including meeting minutes, event details and outcomes
- Managing assigned special projects and company initiatives through planning, scheduling, processes and coordination
- Coordinating travel arrangements, itineraries and bookings
- Depending on interest and skill, the position could also include support in human resources, accounting, and information technology

**Job Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other post-secondary education is an asset
- 3 - 5 years of experience working in an administrative role is preferred
- Experience with drafting and editing professional communication for various audiences
- High proficiency with Microsoft Suite; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong word processing, editing and document compilation
- Self-motivated individual with strong attention to detail and time management
- Exceptional communication skills both verbally and written
- A commitment to excellence in client service
- A positive team-oriented attitude
