We are seeking a **Sales Assistant / Junior Estimator** to join our dynamic team in Barrie, ON. This role is essential to our inside sales operations and plays a key part in supporting our customers and sales team. As the internal sales “expert,” you will manage customer inquiries, prepare accurate estimates, and collaborate with technicians and sales reps to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

**Position**: Full-Time
**Compensation**: $55,000 - $60,000 per year
**What You’ll Do**
✔ Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates based on blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
✔ Analyze labour, materials, and overhead costs to determine pricing.
✔ Collaborate with Sales Reps and Technicians to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and pricing.
✔ Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize cost efficiency.
✔ Adjust estimates as needed based on scope or specification changes.
✔ Provide quotes and estimates to both commercial and residential customers.
✔ Maintain organized and accurate project records and correspondence.
✔ Assist with bids and tenders.
✔ Assist customers in identifying their needs and recommend suitable products/services.
✔ Ensure all customer expectations regarding quality and service are met.
✔ Follow internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
✔ Communicate professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
✔ Report any process issues or non-compliance concerns.
✔ Perform other duties as assigned.
**What You Bring to the Table**
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Prior sales experience and excellent customer service skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and able to learn CRM systems.
Comfortable using a computer and telephone for regular communications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma, G.E.D or equivalent.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Estimating experience or construction background is an asset.
