**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Direct food preparation and cooking activities while on duty
- Create a rich authentic sushi menu with carious main ingredients and raw fish
- Prepare all types of dishes according to Uma Sushi menu, including sushi roll,donburi, nigiri and sashimi, appetizer, and combo
- Select fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients to make high-quality dishes
- Estimate food requirements, cost, and labor
- Manage kitchen operation and give directions to other cooks and helpers, superviseactivities of other workers
- Demonstrate cooking skills in an open kitchen, train cooks and kitchen helpers
- Order kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Coordinate with wait staff to ensure proper cooking, consideration of the specialrequest and food allergies
- Consult with customers on food tastes, ingredients, and portions
- Maintain hygiene principles in all cooking areas, and ensure compliance with healthprotocols and safety programs, especially during COVID-19
**Job Type**: Permanent full-time
Wage: $30 per hour

- Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- Must have a passion for Japanese culinary arts
- Good knowledge of various sushi types and rolling techniques
- Dedicated and accountable, work in a team environment, able to work fast andaccurately
- A college diploma or same level, related education or training is preferred
- Minimum one-year sushi chef experience in a Japanese restaurant setting
- Able to work on Saturdays
- Salary/Wage: $30
