Operations Care Center Manager

Are you a **hands-on leader** with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and customer service? Gateway is seeking a Operation Care Center Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive strategic performance at one of our key sites. This is a pivotal role for a proactive, detail-oriented professional ready to make a meaningful impact at our newest location in Nova Scotia.

**What You’ll Do**:
- Oversee all daily facility operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency across departments.
- Lead, train, and schedule a high-performing team supporting hiring, coaching, and performance management in partnership with HR.
- Manage inventory levels, product demand, order fulfillment, and delivery logistics to meet client expectations and KPIs.
- Drive operational strategy, cost management, and P&L ownership in collaboration with leadership.
- Maintain “tour-ready” facility conditions through rigorous standards and continuous improvement.
- Support client care and handle local customer relations, including emergency pickups, intake, and viewings.
- Act as a critical local link to Sales supporting onboarding, retention visits, and Lunch & Learn events with veterinary clinics.
- Champion change management and new initiative rollouts including software, service, and equipment implementations.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Proven experience in operations management, logistics, or facility leadership.
- Strong understanding of P&L statements and budget development.
- Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; comfortable using KPIs and dashboards to drive performance.
- Knowledge of health & safety compliance, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement practices.
- Tech-savvy, ideally with experience using order tracking or fulfillment software.
