**About the Role**:

As the backbone of our payroll operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely compensation for our employees and contractors. Your keen eye for detail and knack for problem-solving will be put to the test as you navigate through various payroll processes and systems. **Responsibilities**:

- Process payroll accurately and timely, including wage calculations and deductions for our Canadian and US employees.
- Maintain employee records including new hires, leave of absence and terminations; ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Process all expense reimbursements, deductions, and commission payouts as necessary.
- Review Contractor invoices for accuracy and submit them for payment monthly.
- Manage the administration of our Group Benefits program and process employee biweekly premiums on payroll. Additionally, you will manage our HRA program for US employees and process reimbursements on payroll.
- Review employee mileage reports for accuracy and process reimbursements.
- Record vacation and personal days to be processed in payroll cycles.
- Handle employee payroll inquiries promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate with HR for accurate recording of employee data changes.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist in auditing payroll records to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in tasks involving onboarding and offboarding, commission calculations, and recruitment as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience (2 to 4 years) in payroll administration or related roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and taxation.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP) and Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to meet deadlines efficiently.

**Work details**:
, Permanent, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
- Location: In-Person at our Laval office
- Salary Range: $50,000 to $60,000 (depending on experience)
- Languages: English and French
