**Your role**

As our Quebec based People Generalist, you will be reporting to the Head of People Operations. Alongside the R&D and Operations directors, you will be at the forefront of all the People Operations for Riedel Canada and you will act as the go to person to provide support and guidance to employees and management, and ensure a smooth run of the Laval site.

Please note this is an **_hybrid position_** and your presence is required at the office at least **_3 days per week_**. The more you are in touch with our people, the better you can support them

**What you will mostly be doing**
- Promote a positive work environment, including driving the spirit of the social committee, coordinating onboarding and orientation programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Run the recruitment process, including drafting, reviewing and posting job openings, manage job fairs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
- Oversee payroll administration, including timekeeping, benefits enrolment, and liaising with external payroll and benefits providers.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development planning.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other HR-related documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations at the federal and provincial levels.
- Collaboration on interesting projects on various HR topics.

**You will inspire us with...**
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a global tech company.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian federal and Quebec provincial employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and payroll and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with self-starter competence and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Self sufficiency with HRIS (Success Factors an asset).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and to maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CPHR) is an asset.

**Votre rôle**

Vous travaillerez sous la supervision du Responsable des Opérations des Ressources Humaines. Aux côtés des directeurs de site (R&D et Opérations), vous serez en première ligne des ressources humaines pour le site manufacturier de Laval. Vous vous positionnerez comme la personne de référence pour apporter un soutien aux employé.e.s et à la direction, co-garantissant ainsi le bon fonctionnement du site.

Veuillez noter qu'il s'agit d'une **_position hybride_** et qu'**_au moins 3 jours par semaine_** doivent être effectués en personne au bureau.
