**Communicative Disorder Assistant**
**0.2 FTE Permanent***
**Learning Services - Special Education**

**_ Responsibilities:_***
- Implement language programs to individuals and groups on a withdrawal or in-class basis
- Collaborative planning in relation to program direction and implementation procedures
- Develop appropriate materials for speech-language pathologists, students, parents and teachers
- Assist Speech Language Pathologist in development of carry-over programs and materials
**_Qualifications:_***
- Diploma from a recognized Communication Disorder Assistants program at a Community College
- Experience with the school-aged population would be an asset
- Ability to work with a team of professionals
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Membership in the CDAAC would be an asset
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required
**Salary Range**
$39,705 - $51,719 per annum
