**The Opportunity**:
As part of the Safety & Compliance team, the Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining data and files to ensure all Company Drivers and Owner/Operators are in compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements for Canada and the US.

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for assisting with driver inquiries regarding renewal of driver’s license, passports, Ontario medicals, fuel card issues, certificates of violations and dangerous goods cards. This role is also responsible for providing administrative support to the Safety and Compliance department.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Maintain printed and electronic driver qualification files, medical files, and compliance files in a secure and confidential manner
- Data entry in internal systems (TMW)
- Respond to internal driver inquiries in person, by phone and electronically
- Ensure files are compliant with DOT/MOT regulations and standards with accurate indexing and filing
- Review and process all driver applicant qualification documents for accuracy and completeness
- Complete letters of employment as well as reference checks if required
- Performs administrative tasks such as Driver file projects and yearly qualification pull
- Perform other duties as required

**What You Need To Be Successful In This Role**:

- Six months of administrative experience or in a high paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in the transportation industry considered to be an asset
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on projects
- Positive, outgoing and friendly personality
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
