**What’s the ask?**

Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure, Security and Compliance, you will be helping our operations comply with customer contracts, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies and procedures. Duties would include coordinating responses to security assessments and audit requests, as well as tracking and documenting our regulatory and contractual compliance environment. The role would interact with internal and external stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Consulting with business operations, IT, and risk & compliance management as well as advising leadership and management on compliance matters. Primarily, but not exclusively, focused on compliance for our Third-Party Administration business unit.
- Coordinating all internal activities needed to respond to customer assessments, audits, and general inquiries.
- Reviewing contracts to understand the obligations, service levels, timeframes, and other operational aspects, and then documenting and ensuring that all internal stakeholders understand and are fully aware of these.
- Identify compliance issues and recommend solutions when applicable.

**What does it take?**
- Must have at least 2 years experience with security and compliance frameworks, as well as appropriate Canadian legislations ( SOC 2, PCI DSS, PIPEDA, PHIPA, AODA, CASL, Quebec Legislation, etc..)
- Must have excellent interpersonal and documentation skills, and be able to interact affectively with IT, Business Operations, customers, and executives at times.
- Certification in the security and/or compliance area would be an asset (CISSP; CISA; Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP), etc..)
- Knowledge of Canadian laws, and other relevant regulatory standards, and the ability to review and understand customer contracts.
- Previous experience and understanding of the employee health benefits insurance industry in Canada.
- Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of IT cloud environments and a good understanding of IT in general.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills and the ability to manage, multiple priorities and requests.
- Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail and ability to collaborate well with others.
- Post-secondary Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- French language would be an asset.
