To build on the momentum, we're searching for a quality and compliance guru with experience in managing and driving quality in all aspects of our processing and warehouse activities in our Cambridge, Ontario lab. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all standards Evvo maintains certification, scheduling and managing day to day activities for employees, as well as maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. The manager must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously. Applicants should expect to work with dynamic people who care deeply about the environment and want to have fun doing their jobs.

**Anticipated results**:

- Meet or exceed all KPIs
- Embed quality measures to minimize inline, end of line and field failure rates
- Maintain data security conformance
- Successful annual compliance audits

**Responsibilities**

Planning
- Analyze and project quality resource requirements
- Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) system methodology
- Lead NPI/NCI process
- Take a lead role in operations project
- Become the Netsuite SME for the team

Production
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to the Evvo quality team
- Work directly with all team members to optimize processes
- Timely escalation of issues or activities that require senior leadership involvement
- Develop and execute continuous improvement action plans
- Facilitate workflow optimization throughout facility
- Plan, monitor, and appraise employee results. Coach, counsel, and discipline employees
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce systems, policies, and procedures.
- Meet production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Consistently meet or beat customer requirements
- Ensure that the implementation of the customer solution exhaustively reflects the customer's quality needs and requirements
- Successful delivery of the customer solution on a technical perspective

Quality
- Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
- Ensure accurate records are kept
- Ensure products adhere to quality standards
- Perform detailed inspections of final products
- Ensure continuous and consistent improvement, quality, and customer service following company policies/procedures
- Develop and recommend technological advancement opportunities
- Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance Plan and Procedures
- Lead the customer complaint resolution process and internal corrective action resolution process.
- Involvement and collaboration with management and staff as it relates to Quality/Process irregularities or production issues.
- Ensure appropriate training programs are in place for all products and processes ensuring personnel have all of the tools required to complete work efficiently, effectively and safely.
- Create and update work instructions as necessary

Compliance
- Sustain and ensure adherence to current and future business management systems. i.e.: ISO 14001, R2, ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO27001
- Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
- Lead annual internal audits and any corrective actions
- Prepare for and lead annual compliance audits
- Ensure all required records are kept for compliance

Health and Safety
- Assist in Management System enforcement
- Active in all Health and Safety meetings and initiatives, including but not limited to involvement in safety information sessions, workplace audits, and recommendations on training
- Foster an open door, positive working environment, maintaining a consistent schedule of value, add production and Town Hall meetings.
- Ensure all staff embrace and abide by the goals of the Evvo Employee Handbook, including appropriate PPE
- Drive 5S program throughout the facility
- Ensure that safe conditions exist at all times within the work environment and take the appropriate action to protect the health and safety of all employees, visitors and contractors on site.
