**Parts Administrator, Full-time (Temporary)**

Our Edmonton shop location is seeking an experienced Parts Administrator to support our diverse operations. This is a full-time temporary position until May 31st with the possibility of extension.
**Description**:
The Parts Administrator plays a vital role in supporting various sales and service activities for AGFT. This role must ensure inventory needs are being met, and records are accurately maintained.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and maintain optimum inventory levels for YEG and YYC and all contract carriers.
- Negotiate and purchase parts from vendors.
- Receive and put away parts.
- Pack and arrange for shipping of parts.
- Process core returns.
- Arrange for pickup of parts when required.
- Ensure that purchase orders are properly accounted in the accounting system.
- Receive, verify, and enter inventory in the accounting system.
- Conduct inventory counts as required.
- Maintain supplier, vendor, and customer relationships.
- Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensure exceptional, courteous, and respectful customer service.
- Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives.
- Perform any other duties as required.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Previous working experience in the aviation industry with and understanding of inventory control, sales and customer relations is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting systems, inventory management, budgets, and internal controls.
- Must have some general knowledge of heavy equipment.
- Airport Security Clearance is required as a condition of employment.
- Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel and general office administration skills.
- Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Able to lift or move up to 75lbs as required.
- Highly motivated and able to work with mínimal or no supervision.
- Able to complete basic mathematics, trouble shoot and excellent attention to detail.
- Able to communicate tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
- Strong work ethic, able to work collaboratively within a team and have a positive approach.
- First Aid and CPR would be an asset.
- Professional, punctual, meticulous and diligent.
- Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the AGFT Team.
