We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shop Administrator to join our maintenance team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of shop operations — managing everything from purchase and work orders to inventory and communications between departments.

What You'll Do

  • Source and order parts and consumables
  • Create, receive, and track purchase orders (POs)
  • Audit pricing and monitor inventory levels
  • Receive and maintain organization of inventory of parts room
  • Maintain and update work orders and maintenance logs
  • Provide mechanics with equipment updates and schedules
  • Support with month-end reporting, PO trackers, and admin tasks
  • Assist with quarterly inventory audits and equipment inspection reports
  • Manage internal emails and communications

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role, within a mechanics shop or trucking environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Axon or similar shop management software (an asset)
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple departments
  • Basic understanding of truck maintenance and parts ordering
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license a strong asset
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities
