Parts Technician

**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Manage and maintain work order software to ensure easy access to documents and records. While keeping technicians working efficiently.
- Sourcing and Ordering parts and shop supplies, making sure that parts are assigned to jobs or stock.
- Keeping inventory of all stock, maintaining proper stock levels and returning excesses product if not needed.
- Answer phones, handling incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain service records for fleet owned units.
- Assist with shop bookkeeping tasks using Fullbay, including but not limited to invoicing and tracking payments.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
**Skills**
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in operating phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
- Experience with file management and maintaining organized records.
- Strong clerical skills including typing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Heavy Truck Parts and/or Service Experience (2 Years Preferred)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $24.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
