**We are excited to be recruiting for Line Cooks & Prep Cooks at our amazing property, Wyndham Garden Winnipeg Airport.**
Wyndham Garden is a full-service hotel located on the first Urban Reserve in Winnipeg; the Long Plain Madison Reserve located on Treaty 1 territory. The hotel is owned by Long Plain First Nation and is operated by Sparrow Hotels.
**Positions we are recruiting for**:
Line Cooks (2+ Years of Culinary Experience)
Prep Cooks (6 months to 1 Year of Culinary Experience)
**Duties**:
1. Maintain a high-quality product in a very fast-paced line cooking environment.
2. Preparation of produce and protein.
3. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of equipment and food storage areas.
4. Proper rotation and storage of food and cleaning supplies
5. Open to learning new techniques and ideas. Also bring creativity to the kitchen.
**What you bring to the table**:
1. Direct Culinary experience in a fast-paced Hotel environment
2. A positive and hardworking attitude
3. Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
4. The ability to stay focused in a high volume, fast paced industry and ensure accuracy and procedures are followed.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $14.50-$17.50 per hour
