The Driver Recruiter is responsible for identifying, sourcing and recruiting qualified company drivers and owner operators for local and long distance. The person in this position will also be working closely with the safety and compliance department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help improve Independent Contractor and Company Driver Retention
- Works with transportation management and facilities management to identify staffing needs and requirements.
- Develops networks with external sources to continually improve sourcing opportunities
- Maintains and promotes DOT compliance during recruitment and hiring process
- Conduct background checks, perform road tests

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years in driver recruiting experience
- Experience in safety & compliance is an asset.
- Safety driven with HOS & DOT regulations
- Must have solid understanding of the trucking industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
