Position Summary:
The HR Operations Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting various HR projects, including but not limited to HCM optimization, business process changes, and providing support to our Human Resources Business Partners. The HR Operations Specialist will require a strong understanding of HR principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide support for HR projects from initiation to completion, including project planning, coordination, and execution. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of HR initiatives.- Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for optimizing the HCM tool - Workday. Assist in the design, configuration, testing and implementation of system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.- Analyze existing HR processes and identify areas for improvement. Assist with developing and implementing business process changes to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and align with organizational goals, and operational controls.- Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to support decision-making and identify trends. Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.- Develop training materials and documentation to ensure effective knowledge transfer and user adoption.- Support the Human Resources Business Partners by providing insights, data analysis, and recommendations to address HR-related challenges.- Provide day-to-day support to the Human Resources Business Partners, assisting with employee relations issues, policy interpretation, and HR-related inquiries.- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting new hire orientations.- Handle various administrative tasks, including but not limited to maintaining employee records, processing HR-related documentation, and managing HR-related inquiries.- Stay updated on relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices are compliant and up to date.

Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management, Labour Relations, or a related discipline.- 3+ years’ experience in an HR generalist role with a focus on project management and HR initiatives.- Experience supporting and/or leading HCM enhancement projects and implementing process improvements.- Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.- Experience with Workday and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently, in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility in response to evolving business needs.
