Technical Support Specialist

**Job Summary**
**Key Responsibilities**
This is a 7-hour day-shift position. The 7 hours worked will be between 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
**Qualifications**
- Post secondary education in applicable discipline or equivalent in experience
- A minimum of two years experience in technical support of PC/LAN environments
- Expertise in several of the following areas is desired:
- Windows OSs; Apple iOS, Mac OS, MS Office, MS Sharepoint, TCIP, Wireless and Ethernet Networks.
- Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with Board personnel technical staff
- Must have access to a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license
- Demonstrated commitment to working in a diverse school community and/or work environment
- Record of satisfactory on-the-job performance while employed by the Peel District School Board
