**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Production Technician’s main responsibility is to efficiently fabricate and finish high quality signage using equipment and tools in the production department.

This individual possesses department knowledge of equipment, materials, processes, standards, and timelines.

The role includes a moderate amount of project management for orders specific to the production department.

**JOB FUNCTIONS**
- Production Duties_
- Departmental organization (equipment, materials, work-in-progress, work orders, etc.)
- Provide accurate status updates on projects to the Production Supervisor
- Develop, create, and adhere to processes and procedures
- Participate in managing department inventory
- Update organizational documents as required, such as the Purchase Order Log, etc.
- Maintain the operating integrity of department equipment and associated parts
- Assist with installations, deliveries, and pick-ups when necessary
- Ensure the ordering of material is from approved sources
- Look for new and innovative uses for technology in the production of signage
- Team Participation Duties_
- Participate in staff meetings and initiatives
- Participate in shop cleanliness and organization initiatives
- Maintain an orderly workspace
- Utilize a task management system to ensure daily, weekly, and monthly objectives are met
- Adhere to all corporate policies and assist in their development
- Offer support and assistance in other areas of the business as required

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Starting from $17/hour

This is a full-time, permanent position after a 90-day probationary period.

**Training and Development**

**Location and Hours of Work**

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
