**Position Description**:
**Membership & Events Coordinator - Full Time**

As the Membership & Events Coordinator, you will be at the forefront of the business, managing the leading business association programs in North America. To be successful in this position you must have excellent communication skills, be results oriented and have the demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize workflow in a fluid environment. You must be an enthusiastic leader, self-starter, collaborative, and capable of shifting gears from pedestrian and necessary tasks to facilitating strategic conversations in the blink of an eye. You also must have the stamina to keep up with a fast-paced environment that will put you at the epicentre of Greater Vancouver’s business community. If this sounds like you, please read on.

Reporting directly to the Manager, Member Services, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic growth objectives of the department.

The successful applicant will have an extroverted personality with adaptability to engage with both C-Suite executives and small business owners alike.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for the overall planning, execution and follow up of all membership department events
- Ideation for new member experiences and socials
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all members
- Manage all incoming inquiries from members, action and follow up
- General data entry and management
- Administration of affiliate programs; Chamber Plan and _MemberPerks_
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining several dynamic contractual agreements
- Responsible for monthly and ad-hoc reporting on sales and renewals
- Provide support to the Membership Sales Team

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or technical school diploma, with a focus on event planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience

**Preferred Experience**:

- Familiarity with the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade
- Well connected within Greater Vancouver business community
- Strong presentation skills
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous Inside sales experience

**Required Skills**:

- Event planning and execution experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with a high level of professionalism
- Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Resourcefulness and the use of creative thinking to solve problems

- 8 hour shift
