**How you will be spending your time**
**Payroll Processing** & Compliance**
- Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with legal requirements federal and provincial regulations.
- Verify and import employee data, including hours worked, benefits, bonus/incentives, and deductions.
- Stay up to date with Canadian payroll legislation and ensure all payroll processes align with legal requirements.
- Prepare and submit bi-weekly billing for benefits etc.
**Data Maintenance**
- Review employee information, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the payroll system.
**Reporting**
- Generate payroll reports for management, finance, and other relevant departments.
- Participate in year-end documents, such as T4 statements, and T2200’s to ensure timely distribution to employees.
- Complete all ROEsand generate various reports as required according to the business needs.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for accurate financial reporting.
**Communication**
- Communicate payroll-related information to employees in both English and French.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
- Assist employees with inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and taxation.
- Work closely with the HR department to ensure seamless integration of HR and payroll processes.
**The Skills, Experience and Requirements You Need to Be Successful**
- Must be bilingual in French (written and verbal)
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or any other related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in full-cycle payroll processing.
- National Payroll Institute designation would be an asset.
- Experience using payroll software preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll and payroll tax laws required.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and professional manner.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

**Traitement de la paie et conformité**
- Traiter avec précision la paie des employés toutes les deux semaines, en veillant à respecter les exigences légales et les réglementations fédérales et provinciales.
- Vérifier et importer les données des employés, y compris les heures travaillées, les avantages sociaux, les primes/incitations et les déductions.
- Se tenir au courant de la législation canadienne en matière de paie et veiller à ce que tous les processus de paie soient conformes aux exigences légales.
- Préparer et soumettre la facturation bihebdomadaire pour les avantages sociaux, etc.
**Gestion des données**
- Examiner les informations relatives aux employés, y compris les nouvelles embauches, les cessations d'emploi et les changements de statut professionnel.
- Tenir à jour les dossiers des salariés dans le système de paie.
**Rapports**
- Générer des rapports de paie pour la direction, les finances et les autres départements pertinents.
- Participer à l'élaboration des documents de fin d'année, tels que les relevés T4 et les T2200, afin d'en assurer la distribution aux employés dans les délais impartis.
- Remplir tous les RE et produire divers rapports selon les besoins de l'entreprise.
- Collaborer avec les équipes financières et comptables pour assurer l'exactitude des rapports financiers.
**Communication**
- Communiquer les informations relatives à la paie aux employés en anglais et en français.
- Examiner et résoudre les divergences et les problèmes liés à la paie en temps réel.
- Aider les employés à répondre aux questions relatives à la paie, aux avantages sociaux et à la fiscalité.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le service des ressources humaines afin d'assurer une intégration transparente des processus de ressources humaines et de paie.
**Les compétences, l'expérience et les exigences nécessaires pour réussir**
- Doit être bilingue en français (écrit et oral)
- Diplôme d'études postsecondaires en ressources humaines, en administration des affaires, en comptabilité ou dans tout autre domaine connexe.
- 2 à 3 ans d'expérience dans le traitement du cycle complet de la paie.
- La désignation de l'Institut national de la paie serait un atout.
- Expérience de l'utilisation d'un logiciel de paie.
