As part of the Managed Service team, the Associate Payroll Specialist supports the Payroll Specialist(s) to provide an exceptional level of support and service to Payworks' clients requiring an outsourced payroll solution. You will manage processing activities and payment schedules for multiple client accounts, with an emphasis on the timely, secure, and accurate processing of payroll on behalf of Payworks' clients.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED***:
- Fluency in both official languages (French/English), with the ability to communicate effectively to produce succinct explanation and correspondence in both languages.
- PCP Certification or related studies, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a HR or Payroll Department.
- Strong technical skills/savvy using Excel (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc).
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a (virtual) team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
- Experience adapting to tight deadlines, managing client responsibilities, and sudden or frequent changes in priority in order to accomplish objectives.
