**Main Job Tasks**:

- Completion of site work and warranty calls
- Minor drywall repairs
- Installation of drywall
- Demo.
- Installation of cabinets, tile, finishing, framing, windows, and flooring
- Training of in-house staff in the completion of job activities as necessary
- Monitor the quality of work by staff and sub-trades.
- Ensure job sites are kept clean, safe and the proper PPE is used
- In constant communication with clients and Superintendent to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Regular maintenance in the inventory of company tools and equipment
- Help prepare the material take-offs and use of tools and equipment for projects.
- Meets with inspectors as required.
- Train apprentices
- Site cleaning

**Requirements/Skills**:

- Must be detail orientated with a high-quality standard
- Able to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Must be alert and safety conscious.
- Must have the ability to read plans and blueprints.
- Up-to-date knowledge of building codes
- Ability to communicate with homeowners professionally.
- Outstanding customer service
- Must own basic carpentry tools.
- Ability to train future hires for carpentry as the company grows.
- Solid communication skills.

**Experience/Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter Certificate an asset
- Valid driver's license
- Minimum 2 years experience in new home construction
- Minimum 2 years experience on residential renovation and home building sites.
- Minimum of 2 years of Framing experience.
- Rough and finish carpentry will be prioritized.
- Experience installing siding an asset
- Foreman experience an asset
- First aid is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.64-$39.99 per hour
