Position Overview This is a hands‑on role for an experienced tradesperson who can think on their feet and deliver professional results. You’ll work on a variety of projects—repairs, renovations, and small builds—across well‑maintained commercial and residential properties. Every day is different, and your work will have visible impact. Key Responsibilities Complete framing, finishing, drywall, flooring, and millwork repairs and installations Maintain and repair doors, walls, ceilings, and other structural components Read and interpret drawings or work orders to plan and execute jobs accurately Identify site issues, recommend solutions, and complete work efficiently and safely Keep accurate records, ensure high‑quality finishes, and maintain organized work areas Participate in an on‑call rotation for urgent service requests Qualifications Journeyperson Carpenter certification (experienced apprentices also considered) Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial or facility maintenance Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record Own basic carpentry tools (specialized tools provided) Strong communication and troubleshooting skills Dependable, professional, and takes pride in quality work What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Comprehensive health and dental benefits Paid training and opportunities for advancement Consistent, year‑round work Supportive, respectful, and safety‑focused team environment Why Work With Us At XCS Facility Solutions, we know skilled tradespeople are the foundation of our success.
