We are seeking a full-time Receiver who will be responsible for the receiving of product, inventory and goods while properly documenting all incoming product using MIS software. The receiver is also responsible for the day to day maintenance of the warehouse and loading docks (inside and out), ensuring that the area is in order and all product can be quickly identified and received as well as maintaining a safe working environment by keeping product out of active travel routes. The receiver also works closely with the Shipper to assist with wrapping and banding skids, identifying routes for the truck drivers in the Shipper’s absence, and having a general understanding of the day to day operations of the shipping department as a whole.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- _Receive all product and stock incoming to facility: _Compare and identify information and count items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing lists, orders, etc.; unload/load trucks; transport goods from racking, shelving and loading docks.
- _Sign off all deliveries in MIS Software: _Ensure all departments have signed off jobs in accordance to MIS; ensure all job identifying information and sign offs are complete before processing; send all incomplete job information back to CSR.
- _Inventory Control Monitoring / Handling: _Receive and manage inventory balances using MIS software; develop in/out procedures for inventory control and reconcile with Accounting; assist in conducting weekly, quarterly and yearly inventories of warehouse stock and report balances; stage raw material for job processing; log and return overstock from jobs to staging area; keep records of all overstock for use in future jobs; coordinate and move stock to and from local warehouse facilities as required.
- _Monitor vendor shipments: _Communicate with Shipping Coordinator on all product that comes in from vendors; quality check with Shipping Coordinator and once approved either ship or send product back into production.
- _Warehouse Management: _Maintain an organized, safe, orderly and clean warehouse floor, staging areas, and shipping area.
- _Coordinate Pallet/Lift Truck maintenance and safety checks_
- _Monitor Canada Post Inventory: _Manage stock of Canada Post tubs and lids; order inventory as needed.
- _Support Shipper responsibilities as required: _Shrink wrap and help load skids in preparation for drivers; assist shipper with loading truck in the afternoon before shift end.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- High school or equivalent
- Experience in shipping and receiving and knowledge of a printing environment preferred
- Knowledge in Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook
- MIS software knowledge ideal but not required
- Forklift/pump truck certifications
- Excellent organizational skills to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others
- Take initiative to meet timely demands and multi task
- Good time management skills and attention to detail to effectively meet client expectations/priorities
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team; exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime, occasionally on short notice
- Basic problem solving required
- Safety boots are mandatory

**Physical Demands**:
Physical demands such as lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds and standing for 8 hours.
