**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Offload incoming materials using forklifts
- Assist in the scheduling, coordination and document preparation for all outgoing shipments - courier, FTL, LTL
- Maintain communication with customers by forwarding notices, shipment dates and any other status related to their shipments
- Work with all departments and logistic companies to ensure accurate shipping details
- Inspect and verify outgoing customer orders
- Verify and coordinate received product for reshipment to vendors
- Assist in maintaining accurate internal record keeping systems using Genius ERP system
- Work with Production, Project Management and Purchasing to investigate and resolve shipping / receiving discrepancies
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining outdoor inventory yard
- Be available to perform backup delivery duties if dictated by high volume of deliveries
- General labour duties as dictated by work demands
- Attend all company meetings and training as required
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety protocols and quality management

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Valid G License with clean driving abstract is a condition of employment
- Knowledge of shipping receiving and quality control practices
- Experience with Genius ERP software
- Previous Forklift and Reach truck experience and/or certification
- Familiarity with WHMIS and SDS
- Professional and respectful interpersonal and customer skills
- Accept accountability and responsibility
- Exceptional proven problem-solving skills and be detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and ability to exercise independent judgement
- Must be able to function successfully in a busy, fast paced environment.
- Must be capable of working well as part of a team
- Physically able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to work effectively under pressure in time sensitive situations and adapt well to change
