Shipper and Receiver

**Responsibilities and Duties**: - Receive purchase orders and transfers - Process outgoing shipments of products via UPS or other delivery method - Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks, etc. - Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods. - Unpack and route goods to appropriate storage areas. - Document and resolves discrepancies related to transfers and purchase orders - Tag and label incoming materials as required - May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods. **Qualifications and Skills**: - 1-5 years of relevant experience - High School or equivalent - Experience in a manufacturing environment required - Experience in the electrical distribution industry - Ability to lift up to 40 kg, some product may be awkward/oversize - Attention to detail and good dexterity - Knowledge of customs regulations - Experience working with computerized shipping systems - Health and Safety experience required - Forklift License and Driver's License "G" required - Ability to work as part of a team with an excellent work ethic - Supervisory experience beneficial - Hardworking and punctual - Good written and verbal English communication skills required - Computer literate **Reports To**: Plant Manager **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care Schedule: - 8 hour shift **Experience**: - Shipping & Receiving Occupations: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person
