We are looking for our next Marketing Consultant to join our upbeat Marketing Team. The purpose of this role is to plan and implement marketing projects for our commercial (business) insurance products sold through insurance brokers.

As a Marketing Consultant for Aviva Canada, you will lead marketing campaigns and projects, including product launches/updates, brand updates, and informative and seasonal campaigns.

The primary focus is marketing to our broker channel, providing them with key messaging and information to sell Aviva products. This includes awareness, education, consideration, and lead generation tactics.

Product scope covers personal property and auto insurance, including high-net-worth, lifestyle and group insurance.

What you'll do:

- Planning and goal setting for all campaigns/projects
- Execution of projects, including project plans, timelines, channel execution and reporting/optimization. This includes extensive team and partner management, including digital, legal, translation and product teams.
- Digital/social awareness, consideration and lead generation tactics
- Brochures, sales sheets, e-newsletters, product guides, and other marketing collateral.
- The marketing consultant will work closely with the marketing lead and will manage various aspects of marketing projects, including:

- Collaborating closely with business units to define, develop, and implement tactics and deliver results
- coordinating with the translations team to ensure language compliance
- Working with the various digital teams to ensure our digital platforms and touchpoints fulfil campaign objectives
- Coordinating with legal teams to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or some other related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a marketing, communications or project management role.
- Insurance or financial services experience preferred.
- B2B (or broker) marketing experience is an asset.
- Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytic skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a number of competing priorities.
- Strong partner management and teamwork skills.
- Experience with CMS systems, including Adobe Experience Manager, is an asset.
