Ebco Industries Ltd. is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for Hydro Services and Engineered Products. This role is critical to the reputation that Ebco has built for delivering world-class quality manufacturing. Reporting to the Executive VP, Sales & Marketing, you will be the prime driver of sales activity including but not limited to quote preparation, sales admin requirements, customer support, quotation follow up, order processing, and measuring customer satisfaction. You will closely collaborate with various internal departments and representatives in this cross-functional position.

**WHAT WE DO**

Ebco Industries, Ltd. (Ebco) is one of Canada’s largest manufacturing facilities with over 65 years in manufacturing expertise. We deliver world-class quality manufacturing and repair and rebuild services to projects based domestically and worldwide. Our strengths encompass the complete spectrum from heavy metal fabrication, heavy machining, turnkey assembly to light precision machining and fabrication as well as precision sheet metal fabrication. Our customers range from small and/or start-up companies to world class suppliers of OEM capital equipment and machinery. Our headquarters and manufacturing facility is located in Richmond, B.C. Canada.

**KEY DUTIES**
- Prospecting and developing new customer opportunities through personal networking, social networking, trade shows, industry associations etc.
- Identify and present the business case for new engineered product lines
- Maintaining and growing business from the existing customer base
- Conducting sales calls, delivering presentations, serving as a main customer contact throughout order process, following-up with customers, as necessary
- Assisting with customer order processing and order entry as needed
- Arranging registration of tradeshows/conferences and coordinate tradeshow booth logistics; participating/attending sales conferences/meetings/tradeshows, etc.
- Managing sales collateral materials (brochures, business cards, tradeshow booth, etc.) and assisting the Marketing Manager with social media and blog posts
- Identifying & prioritizing new business opportunities (through research and analysis, bid websites, etc.) and coordinating necessary resources to support leads
- Other duties and tasks as assigned

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Minimum 2 year experience in major account, direct sales/business development role
- Minimum 2 year experience in manufacturing or engineering industries
- Miller-Heimen Sales training is a strong asset.
- Strong understanding of the Hydro industry is an asset
- Technical Certification/Diploma/Degree preferably in machining, fabrication, mechanical, industrial or related field is an asset
- Experienced in negotiating contractual terms and conditions as well as project pricing
- High energy with the ability to get out in front of the customer and grow the business as well as work efficiently and effectively with a team of existing sales professionals
- Confident in a client facing role
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent client relations skills with the proven ability to form relationships and the ability to produce results from those relationships.
- Travel within Canada and the USA will be required. A valid passport is necessary. We expect travel to be up to 50% of the time
