As a Leader, Operational Administrative Support, you will provide enhanced management, guidance and oversight across multiple teams within Emergency Management & Community Safety (EMCS), including the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) Operations, Court Services and Media & Evidence Disclosure. You will act as a liaison with Community Peace Officers (CPOs) and Supervisors across four operational sections within EMCS. Primary duties include:

- Ensure the continuous, 24/7 operational integrity and reliability of the CPIC system to support critical organizational objectives.
- Oversee court-related processes, legal documentation, and evidence handling.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulatory standards governing the collection, storage, and use of video evidence.
- Collaborate on legal administrative processes, provide training to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Work closely with Sergeants and officers to implement new workflows and assist in the development of court-related policies and procedures.
- Lead strategic collaboration with law enforcement and municipal partners to enhance collaborative outcomes and organizational impact.
- Lead the strategic direction, implementation, and optimization of technology initiatives such as Body-Worn and In-Dash Cameras.
- Oversee daily work and provide coaching, scheduling, recruitment, and performance management. Assign tasks, monitor progress, conduct evaluations, and address any performance concerns.

**Qualifications**
- A High School diploma or equivalency (e.g. GED or CAEC [Canadian Adult Education Certificate]) and at least 10 years of related combined experience including court administration and CPIC operations that includes informal or formal leadership; OR
- A completed 2 year diploma in Criminal Justice or a related field and at least 8 years of related combined experience as outlined above; OR
- A degree in Criminal Justice or a related field and at least 4 years of related combined experience as outlined above.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- A completed CPIC Maintenance Certificate and CPIC Query/Narrative Certificate.
- Proficiency working within legislative requirements of 35 Bylaws, 9 Provincial statutes, the Criminal Code of Canada, the Peace Officer Code of Conduct and Ministerial Regulation is required.
- An understanding of case flow management, court systems and procedures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Administrative Penalty Notice (APN), Public One Stop Service Experience (POSSE), Customer Service Requests (CSR), Chameleon, Justice On-Line Information Network (JOIN), Administrative Penalties Information System (APIS) and previous experience in legislative interpretation will be considered an asset.
- A Community Peace Officer Level 1 designation will also be considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires exceptional time management abilities with a high degree of attention to detail in prioritizing time sensitive assignments, effective communications skills, excellent tact, diplomacy, professionalism, and the ability to deal with difficult sensitive information and demanding situations.
