Job Overview:
Food Handlers Certificate preferred, not required to get job however will be required when trained.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook menu items in compliance with established recipes and standards
- Ensure food quality and presentation meets the restaurant's requirements
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food and supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team/ serving staff to ensure timely and efficient food production
- Assist in creating new dishes or menu items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ability to handle cash and work a cash register
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 1 - 25 per week
