Our team is growing We are looking for a **Kitchen Supervisor** for the Penalty Box Bar and Grill located inside our amazing **Cambridge Sports Park** location (1001 Franklin Blvd).

**Responsibilities**:
**Supervisory Duties**
- Assist the restaurant manager in maintaining a high-performing cost-effective kitchen operation.
- Responsible for food ordering, inventory control, and food budget management.
- Assist in preparing employee schedules for the kitchen.
- Assist in recruiting and training new kitchen staff.
- Maintain employee satisfaction and morale in the kitchen.
- Assist with in-house promotion and menu creation for special events.
- Assist with sourcing ingredients, dealing with food suppliers, and cost negotiation.
- Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to all health and safety regulations.

**Cook Duties**
- Set up food station and prep ingredients prior to restaurant opening.
- Prepare high-quality food with consistency, as per the standardized menu.
- Perform opening and closing procedures of kitchen.
- Practice proper safe food handling and sanitation.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures.
- Ensure preparation and cooking stations are well stocked and maintained.
- Dishes, cleaning the overall kitchen, deep fryer, countertops, fridges and garbage.
- Partner with Front of House to create an excellent customer experience.

**Requirements**:

- Previous culinary experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- Previous management experience leading a successful kitchen
- Experience in food budgeting, ordering and inventory management.
- Great communication skills and the ability to lead a small team.
- Must be proficient in using a computer and basic restaurant software.
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment
- Valid Safe Food Handlers Certification

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work a variety of shifts including late evenings and weekends.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment and may be required to lift up to 25 lbs.

**Salary**: $19.50-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
