**Role Responsibilities**
- Lead, motivate and continue to grow the recruiting team and report on their performance.
- Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
- Introduce new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting, community partnerships, foreign worker programs)
- Review recruitment software and suggest the best option for company needs.
- Coach and assist hiring managers on interviewing, onboarding and retention techniques.
- Recommend ways to improve our employer brand.
- Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs.
- Stay up to date on labor legislation and inform internal stakeholders about changes in regulations.
- Participate in job fairs and career events.
- Build the company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partnerships.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Review organizational structure, providing consultation and guidance to hiring managers to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
- Utilize various sourcing techniques such as leveraging job boards, social media, cold calling, and employee referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
- Other duties as required.
- This role does require travel throughout 4 provinces in Canada on quarterly basis, or as the business requires and as directed/approved by the Vice President of Human Resources.
- This role resides in Ontario and is based out of the Oakville office.

**Qualifications**
- 2-5 years as a Recruitment Professional (with at least 1 direct report).
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in recruitment, in manufacturing or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Recruitment Software, Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases.
- Working Knowledge of labour legislation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
- Experience in Staffing and Recruitment companies is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with social media and other professional networks.
- Experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs as it pertains to recruitment is considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.
- College Diploma or University degree in a relative field.
