Pay rate $18.00/hr + $2.00 Travel ($20.00)

**Shifts**

Week 1 Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8pm to 8am

Week 2 Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- 84 hours Every 2 weeks
- Would be required to work every weekend

**Responsibilities**:

- Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Logging in and out trucks.
- Conduct regular foot patrols at the appropriate times.
- Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences.
- Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Upon entry, checking in various trucks according to protocol.
- Access control for the facility/area.
- Ensuring that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to site emergencies.
- Demonstrating judgement, common sense, and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.

**Skills**:

- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position.
- Trained Security Guard with a diploma in a related field.
- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols.
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation.
- Integrity and professionalism.
- Ability to operate security equipment/systems, computers, radios, phones.
- Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills.

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Baden, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
