**Cardiovascular Surgery Program Management & Cardiovascular Services**

Reporting to the Director
- Cardiovascular, Medicine & Renal Program, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing a full range of

administrative services in keeping with the confidential and strategic nature of the position. Primary responsibilities include administrative duties

related to Cardiovascular services at TBRHSC (Cardiac Catheterization Lab, pacemaker clinic, inpatient/outpatient cardiac care, Cardiac Diagnostics

& Rehabilitation, outpatient vascular services, wound & limb preservation). This position also provides administrative services in support of

Cardiovascular Surgery Program development, a major project intended to bring comprehensive Cardiovascular Surgery to Northwestern Ontario.

Employment Requirements:

- Diploma in Office Administration and/or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Minimum of 2 ‑ 3 years experience in an office environment performing administrative duties.
- Minimum of 55 wpm.
- High‑level proficiency in computer software, specifically Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Cisco

WebEx, Project and Visio.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi‑task, effectively balancing competing priorities and tight timelines.
- Proven ability to perform work in an organized, independent manner and the ability to work under pressure,

prioritize work on a daily basis and maintain confidentiality.
- Possesses tact, discretion and diplomacy in dealing with staff, physicians, clients and the public.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when there are special events that require administrative

support (including conferences, regional engagement sessions)

Salary Range: $30.516 to 35.902
