We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper/Office Administrator. We are seeking an independent person with strong administrative and bookkeeping background and experience in this position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Complete all bookkeeping tasks in Sage 50 Pro software including processing all A/P, A/R, banking, credit cards, ect.
- Post fixed assets as required
- Process all government remittances and deductions as required (WSIB, HST, EHT, ect.
- Post intercompany transactions
- Ensure accounts are balanced, reconciled and resolve discrepancies.
- All other accounting related and administrative duties as required, including maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with the team as needed to complete tasks.
- Assist in hiring and orientation of all new employees as it pertains to payroll

Qualifications:

- Fluent in English
- Ability to work independently
- Must be proficient in Sage 50 Pro with full cycle bookkeeping
- Proficient in Excel and Word
- Strong financial understanding and background in accounting and financial administration
- Good communication and attention to detail

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Full cycle Bookkeeping: 2 years (preferred)
- Sage 50 Pro: 2 years (required)
