**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization.
- Payment Preparation: Prepare and process payments via cheque, EFT, or other methods.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial records.
- Process bi-weekly payroll: verify, enter, and pay employees.
- Prepare and submit HST payments
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Sage.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is a must.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
