Role
The VAR Channel Account Manager is responsible for developing new business relationships and serve as the first level of support to existing partners. Working on the Account Manager team at Ooma provides a compelling opportunity for Sales Professionals with a proven track record of up selling existing customers and generating referrals in technology or telecom sales. **This role is onsite based in our Vancouver or Sunnyvale office.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Focused on growing and developing existing Ooma customers and generating new business
- Achieve and exceed individual monthly sales quota through the VAR sales channel
- Key role in new business pitches responsible for the effective on-boarding of new clients
- Write business plans for current and opportunity tender business
- Champion customer at all levels internally and by training VARs to efficiently represent the customer
- Consistently follow up with customers to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service
- Execute best sales practices and techniques as coached by management
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement using Salesforce
**Requirements**:
- 2**+ years of quota carrying B2B account management Sales experience in **Telecom, VoIP, Networking or IT**:
- Proven account management and relationship building skills
- Salesforce and forecasting experience
- Highly self-motivated with a positive mind set
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Methodical approach with the ability to capitalize on momentum
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Work ONSITE in our Vancouver, BC office
