**About this Opportunity**

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a high performing Inspection Coordinator to join our team and support our distribution team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Distribution, the Distribution Inspection Coordinator is responsible for the civil and electrical inspection and coordination of underground utility infrastructure.
**As the successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Coordinate and inspect underground subdivision electrical installations ensuring compliance with Oshawa Power specifications, standards, policy and design;
- Prepare “as constructed mark-up” drawings and review contractor and internal “as built” drawings to ensure compliance with Oshawa Power standards;
- Coordinate isolations, switching and energization of subdivision underground infrastructure;
- Liaise with internal staff, municipal authorities, government agencies, consultants, contractors, developers and customers as required;
- Attend construction meetings and coordinate work between construction, customers, developers and contractors to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective completion of projects;
**What you have to offer**:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience working in an electrical utility or contractor installing and/or inspecting underground utility infrastructure
- Working knowledge of Utility Installation Standards, Electrical Safety Code and Ontario Regulation 22/04 Construction Verification Program;
- Must be familiar with IHSA Electrical Utility Safety Rules, IHSA Utility Work Protections Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and ESA rules and regulations;
- Commitment to safety, customer service, teamwork, respect in the workplace and continued improvement of processes and procedures;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills;
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines while working in a team environment;
- Must possess a valid Ontario Class G driver license with a driving record in good standing.
