We're looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to support our Oshawa location.

**About the role**:
As Quality Control Coordinator you'd be responsible to...
- Enforce compliance with the inspection and testing procedures of the products along the production lines.
- Conduct testing on products to ensure they are within the expected tolerances.
- Train the production team on Quality Controls, SOPs, GMPs, and SQF procedures to improve product excellence.
- Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to investigate and solve customers’ complaints.
- Ensure proper follow up of NCRs until conclusion.
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming and outgoing products.
- Report to the Quality Control Manager and purchasing department of any products or materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Ensure the quality tests made by operators during production are performed according to the SOPs.
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Control and revise all master standards for calibration of tools and testing devices.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in making sure the GMP and HACCP guidelines are being followed when required.
- Assist the Compliance Manager in ensuring proper management of controlled documents and distribution lists.

**About the requirements**:

- Degree, diploma, and/or certification in quality control is preferred.
- Dynamic, organized, and team player.
- Practical knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and Food Security.
- Knowledge of SQF and/or ISO 9001 is preferred.
- Demonstrated technical report writing skills.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Detail oriented.
- Bilingual (English/French) is a plus.

- Oshawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- quality control: 2 years (preferred)
- manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
