- motivated, organized and pro-active Administrative Education Coordinator who is responsible for a variety of duties related to ensuring a smooth, coordinated, students academic support, marketing activities and efficient office environment and other related administrative support services. He/she will be reporting to the Campus Director.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinating day-to-day administrative operations including student services, scheduling instructions team’s assistance in support of departmental needs for the education delivery, documentation records and filing.
- Responsible for providing assistance, advice and guidance to support the academic needs of students
- Support the implementation of programs and services that assist students to continue, re-enter and complete their academic programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student grades and attendance
- Taking a lead role in organizing and booking meeting space and arranging needed audio/visual equipment
- Maintaining procedures for authorizing access to the office areas and classrooms (e.g. identification cards, keys) for employees, students, and visitors
- Coordinating emergency evacuation processes for employees and students, maintaining occupational health and safety requirements for employees
Position requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures
- Excellent organizational, time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods
- Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service
- Proven self-starter and problem solver
- Positive attitude
- Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion; protecting confidential information is a must.
- Post secondary education in administration or commerce plus a minimum of 2 years administrative experience
Talent is other languages than English a plus.
