**The Opportunity**: Digital Marketing Specialist

**Position Details**: Permanent, Full-Time, Victoria BC. Hours of work will generally occur from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The hours of work may vary and may be irregular and will be those hours necessary to meet the requirements of the job.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, execute, maintain and optimize multi-channel digital communication, advertising, and marketing strategies for our dynamic group of companies in partnership with Marketing and Operations teams
- Maintain a deep understanding of consumer base and behaviours through metrics and data
- Manage, maintain, optimize and report on our e-commerce platforms
- Optimize and report on SEO and SEM ecosystems
- Conduct website audits, suggest optimization recommendations, and execute landing page strategies to increase traffic and conversion rates
- Track metrics and analyze data to measure and report out on success
- Develop client personas to utilize with Marketing team to tell our story effectively
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging
- Work on other special projects related to digital marketing
- Such other duties as are customarily performed by one holding the position of a Digital Marketing Specialist in businesses that are similar to The Truffles Group
- Such other and unrelated duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Employer

**Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications**
- Formal education and certifications in digital marketing
- 3+ years working within a digital marketing environment (multi-brand organization an asset)
- Excellent writing skills and verbal communication skills
- Proven marketing experience in:

- Social media advertising and digital marketing campaigns
- SEO and SEM optimization
- Website analytics tools, ad serving tools and marketing software
- Basic programming
- E-commerce platforms eg. Shopify
- Web best practices, WordPress, landing page optimisation, user funnels and A/B testing
- Strong attention to detail, and an ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
- Developed skillset in distilling complicated data into accessible reports / presentations
- An ability to work independently and efficiently; strong organizational and time management skills
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation as a proactive and collaborative team player
- Resourcefulness and enjoyment taking on new challenges
