Social Media Associate

The Social Media Associate will maintain Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan's online presence in consultation with senior management. The role will report directly to the executive director. Their main responsibilities include developing strategies to generate a fan base and increase traffic on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. These strategies are written and developed by creating a strategic campaign calendar with goals and agendas to increase audience awareness. The content ranges from blogs, social media content and some website messages. Writing is an essential part of the coordinators position especially when engaging in active communication with followers on each platform since they are the voice of the company they represent on social media.

Social Media Associate
- Digital media research and media planning
- Consult with clients and other agency staff to establish and achieve specific media goals and objectives
- Develop and present creative briefs to collective teams
- Develop social media campaigns in support of line of business objectives
- Create social media and blog/article content
- Drive insights and analysis to direct social media campaigns
- Ensure that marketing materials are on brand, high quality and unassailable
- Facilitate communication with relevant internal and external marketing partners; media schedules, social media schedules, partner communications.
- Handle various project-oriented tasks as needed such as process improvements, calendar development and execution
- Identify potential challenges and opportunities pertaining to online presence in the short and long term
- Make strategic recommendations that drive engagement and fan growth
- Monitor analytics and track key metrics against goals within the social media team
- Optimize marketing strategies informed by past results and analysis
- Oversee creative assets and marketing materials
- Partner across the organization and various departments to communicate and manage projects
- Partner with supervisor on the development and implementation of corporate social media strategies
- Provide necessary support in the execution, trafficking, managing and optimization of digital media campaigns
- Support programming efforts by maintaining schedules, invitation and attendee databases
- Work with Agency partners and clients to drive work

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience in social media or related field Excellent, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
- Fluency in English

Education
- Bachelors degree in communications, journalism or marketing preferred
- Post secondary school, social media related diploma or equivalent experience

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
