We are a mid-sized law firm located in Downtown, Calgary. We are looking for a high energy, reliable individual to join our Real Estate department.

**Skills**:

- Be reliable, have a positive, “can-do” attitude, a strong work ethic, and a dedication to client service
- Legal Assistant Diploma from a recognized institution
- English verbal and written skills, any additional languages spoken considered an asset
- Software knowledge including Outlook, Word, Adobe, Excel, and PowerPoint and a high level of comfort learning and using additional internal software
- Conveyancing software skills, experience with Unity considered an asset
- Detail oriented, discreet, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Open to taking on new tasks and be able to problem solve independently
- A high desire to work in a collaborative, team dynamic
- 3+ years experience in a real estate department considered an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate and complete assigned real estate files from start to finish;
- Conduct land titles, tax, PPR, and other relevant searches;
- Communicate with clients, lenders, mortgage brokers, and realtors;
- Prepare all relevant documents for signing;
- Communicate with responsible lawyer regarding all aspects of file;
- Bill files as needed;
- Complete final reporting to client/lender; and
- Provide administrative support on litigation matters.
- Provide administrative support to the office (organizing couriers etc)
