**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding educational objectives and student performance.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with disabilities, ensuring inclusive practices are followed.
- Maintain organized classroom records and documentation related to student performance and behavior.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.

**Skills**
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages such as French is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Experience in classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior among students.
- Ability to write clear and effective lesson plans, reports, and communications.
- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies for working with students with disabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups of individuals.

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 32 per week
