**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive bids
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain a reliable network of resources
- Provide support during the project bidding process, including attending pre-bid meetings and site visits
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills

Note: Project management skills are essential for this role as it involves coordinating with various stakeholders throughout the estimation process.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
