We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Estimator in the field of general contracting. As a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting in the estimation and bidding process for construction projects. You will work closely with the senior estimating team to analyze project requirements, prepare cost estimates, and contribute to the overall success of the company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the senior estimating team to review project plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation to understand project requirements.
- Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and accurately calculate quantities of materials required for each project.
- Research and gather pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
- Analyze historical data, such as project costs and productivity rates, to support the development of accurate estimates.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals and related documents in accordance with project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to clarify project details and address any estimation-related inquiries.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all estimating activities, including bid documents, correspondence, and project files.
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and construction techniques to enhance estimating accuracy.
- Assist with post-bid activities, such as bid analysis, subcontractor selection, and bid negotiation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations is a plus.
- Previous experience in estimating or construction-related field is preferred, but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
