Bookkeeper/office Manager

Duties:
- Perform 10-key typing to accurately input financial data
- Assist with financial report writing and preparation
- Provide support in technical accounting tasks, such as reconciling accounts and analyzing financial statements
- Assist with tax-related activities, including gathering necessary documentation and preparing tax forms
- Handle governmental accounting tasks, such as tracking and reporting on grants or contracts
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Assist with bank reconciliation to ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Payroll processing by verifying employee hours and ensuring accurate calculations
- Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments
- Office administration duties including supervision of small office staff
- Customer service scheduling and resolve disputes
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper and office manager or in a similar role
- Proficient in 10-key typing for accurate data entry
- Strong knowledge of financial report writing and preparation
- Familiarity with technical accounting principles and practices
- Understanding of tax regulations and processes
- Knowledge of governmental accounting procedures is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
