**Salary**:$89,479.06 to $109,704.13
**Description**
Children’s Mental Health Services (CMHS) is a publicly funded not-for-profit agency with office locations throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties. CMHS employs skilled staff who provide innovative and evidence-based mental health services to children, youth, and families. CMHS is the Lead Agency for the Hastings, Prince Edward, and Northumberland (HPEN) service areas. Lead Agencies oversee and coordinate the delivery of mental health services and programs in their region and work with community partners to provide a wide range of supports for children and youth. We work collaboratively with other child and youth mental health service providers and other affiliated community partners including our child welfare, health, and school board partners, and parents and youth engaged in our services.

**Position Summary**
Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Community Services Manager is responsible for the successful management of community-based services provided by the organization. These services include Intake, Virtual Walk-In, Crisis, Brief Therapy, Counselling & Therapy, Targeted Prevention Groups, Day Treatment within schools, and both In-Home and Live In Treatment.
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with other members of the leadership team as an integral member of the Operational Management Team.
- Manage the day to day and overall performance development of a team of Child & Family Therapists and/or Child and Youth Workers, providing them with regular clinical supervision and building on individual strengths to foster growth of the team as a whole.
- Monitor clinical services provided to ensure quality and recognized best practices.
- Manage the assigned service(s) to achieve specified outcomes and quality indicators within the context of identified community needs.
- Manage the resources of the community services programs in an effective and efficient manner within the parameters of the approved budget.
- Lead ongoing program evaluation (research, client feedback, internal and external stakeholder feedback), ensuring that the services provided continue to meet client and community needs and align with the performance outcomes determined by the organization.
- Coordinate access to specialized services to support ongoing treatment needs of clients
- Develop and maintain community partnerships that directly result in enhanced service capacity and improved outcomes for children, youth and families.
- Develop annual staff training plan in collaboration with the management team.
- Act as a resource to the Clinical Director by engaging in research, needs assessment and initiatives related to the delivery of children’s mental health services and the promotion of an integrated service system.
- Other related duties as assigned.
**Experience/Skills and other Requirements**
- Master of Social Work preferred or equivalent Graduate Degree.
- Registered and in good standing with a recognized professional college that governs the controlled act of psychotherapy.
- Minimum of three years management/supervisory experience in a human services organization
- Experience providing clinical supervision, program planning, development and evaluation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the field of children’s mental health.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to providing services to children and families.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Computer literacy to support the responsibilities of position and program requirements - proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of Tools mandatory; experience using EMHware considered an asset
- Demonstrated flexibility to meet the needs of the organization and demands of the position; ability to balance competing demands.
- Demonstrated independence in critical thinking and clinical assessment and treatment.
