**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist in the preparation and cutting of various meats according to specifications.
- Support the packaging of meat products for display and sale.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butchery area, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their selections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Follow all safety protocols while handling knives and other equipment.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing meat products.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food production or preparation is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Culinary experience or background in the food industry is a plus.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cutting techniques are highly desirable.
- Experience in customer service, particularly within a restaurant or retail environment, is beneficial.
- A passion for quality food and a willingness to learn new skills in butchery are key attributes for success in this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2025-08-16
